About Climbing District Building One
Building One sits inside the Tower Bridge Business Centre on Drummond Road, in a former biscuit factory hall a few minutes from Bermondsey station. For years it was the flagship of The Arch, the wall that did more than any other to put Bermondsey on London's bouldering map. Since Climbing District took over the Arch estate it trades under the new name, with membership valid across all three of the group's London walls.
At 15,000 sq ft it has one of the biggest climbing floors in the city: 300+ problems, a competition wall, campus and circuit boards and a steep 55° training wall, plus strength and mobility zones. There's a café, a shop and full changing facilities, and it remains bouldering only.
